Awards
The competition selects the best wines resulting from the extreme viticulture with the aim of promoting and safeguarding the production of small wine-growing areas which are characterized by history, tradition, uniqueness and are of great environmental and landscape value where mainly native vines are grown. These are authentic islands of viticultural biodiversity which, however, run the risk of disappearing due to the high production cost. The peculiarity of Mondial des Vins Extremes is mainly due to the variety of wines for tasting which are produced mostly from native vines characterized by unique terroirs. The aromas and flavours of the wines make Mondial des Vins Extremes unique in the panorama of wine competitions worldwide and draws the interest of the experts who every year apply to participate in the selections.
